Real Madrid have agreed a deal for Manchester City youngster Brahim Diaz, according to Marca.
The 19-year-old moved to England in 2013 from Malaga’s impressive youth setup and is currently developing through Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Despite being expected to gain more first team appearances this season, Diaz has not started a single league game for City this term.
Madrid, who have been long term admirers of the youngster are now reported to have agreed a permanent deal, which will be on a free transfer as his contract expires next summer.
Los Blancos have agreed a deal in principle, according to Marca, with official talks set to begin in January, when he will have six months left on his deal.
Diaz netted two goals for City in their League Cup win over Fulham earlier in November, but despite being given that chance – it is understood that he still wants to leave the Etihad stadium.
Born in Malaga, the youngster has featured for Spain at various youth levels, mainly at U17 and u19, whilst he was capped for the U21 side in 2017.
Madrid got themselves back to winning ways in mid-week, beating Roma in the Champions League and they will look to bring their European form into La Liga at the weekend when they face Valencia.
