Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea attacking midfielder Eden Hazard, according to Onda Madrid Radio.
The report claims that Los Blancos have agreed to pay €170m for the Belgian international at the end of the season, whilst Mateo Kovacic will also be included in the deal as he makes his loan deal a permanent one at Stamford Bridge.
Madrid have long been interested in Hazard with club president Florentino Perez a big admirer of the 24-year-old.
Having lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus last summer, Madrid have been crying out for someone to take the former number seven’s mantel, having seen both Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale become inconsistent.
Perez believes Hazard is the perfect option to see Madrid push Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for the La Liga title, having failed to do so last season.
Hazard is said to be keen on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu and follow in the footsteps of Thibaut Courtois, who moved to to Madrid this summer from the Blues.
Hazard is entering the final 18 months of his deal in London and has been linked with an exit to Spain for sometime.
Further reports in Spanish press claim Isco or Marco Asensio could be included in the deal.
