Barcelona foward Ousmane Dembele has been fined in excess of £100k for arriving two hours late to training on Sunday morning.
The French international was made to train by himself after failing to arrive on time for the session.
It is not the first time this season that the 21-year-old has arrived late and it just another sour note to add to his most recent off field incidents.
Mundo Deportivo report that Dembele claim that the World Cup winner blamed stomach problems, much like he did when he arrived 90 minutes late just one month previous.
It is not yet known if the former Borussia Dortmund man will miss the upcoming Champions League game with Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening.
The Frenchman is included in the matchday squad however, but his place is likely to be taken by Brazilian play-maker Philippe Coutinho, who was a used substitute against Espanyol at the weekend.
Dembele will now be forced to pay a fine in excess of £100k, according to various Catalan sources, who also confirm that the youngster will not be sold in the January transfer window.
The club are now said to be actively helping the winger with his off-field discipline and attitude.
