Marcelino and his men are coming off a confidence boosting win in midweek against Manchester United and will be hoping they can replicate the same performance in the league but are up against a side in Eibar who are within three points of their best ever start to a season.
Both sides sit in mid-table close to the half way stage of the season, but the home side come into this fixture in good form with only one defeat in their last six including a 3-0 thumping victory over Real Madrid.
Valencia needed a last gasp goal from Mouctar Diakhaby to clinch a draw against Sevilla last weekend but with outings against Eibar, Huesca. Alaves and Real Valladolid in the near future, the Bats will be hoping to gather up some points.
Last season, Eibar managed to do the double over their opponents and have won three out of the last four meetings between the sides, with the other being a draw.
Los Armeros will be without their long-term absentees in Jordi Calavera (thigh), Marko Dmitrovic (groin) and Pedro Leon (foot).
Los Che picked up injuries in midweek with key midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia set to be out for two to three months with a hamstring tear according to reports circulating on social media, while left-back Toni Lato is set to spend some time on the sideline after suffering injury from the crunching tackle he received from Ecuadorian international, Antonio Valencia.
Other casualties for Valencia are Portuguese international, Goncalo Guedes (hernia), centre-backs Gabriel (muscle) and Jeison Murillo (ankle), alongside French forward Kevin Gameiro who misses out with a groin injury.
