Eibar vs Valencia: Mid-table grudge match as Los Che looks to bounce back

Eibar v Valencia –¬†¬†Estadio Municipal de Ipurua – 15th December 2018 – Kick off 7:45pm UK time

Marcelino and his men are coming off a confidence boosting win in midweek against Manchester United and will be hoping they can replicate the same performance in the league but are up against a side in Eibar who are within three points of their best ever start to a season.

Both sides sit in mid-table close to the half way stage of the season, but the home side come into this fixture in good form with only one defeat in their last six including a 3-0 thumping victory over Real Madrid.

Valencia needed a last gasp goal from Mouctar Diakhaby to clinch a draw against Sevilla last weekend but with outings against Eibar, Huesca. Alaves and Real Valladolid in the near future, the Bats will be hoping to gather up some points.

Last season, Eibar managed to do the double over their opponents and have won three out of the last four meetings between the sides, with the other being a draw.
