La Real have had a dismal season and have no consistency going into the final league game of 2018.
Asier Garitano arrived from Leganes in the summer but he has failed to guide his side to a successful period, losing three on the spin i n La Liga which leaves them sitting dangerously close to the relegation places in 15th place.
Alaves will arrive as one of the league’s in-form sides, having sat top last month and they lead the head-to-head ties against La Real by two wins heading into Friday’s 23rd game between the two.
Diego Llorente is expected to feature at centre-back ahead of young Robin Le Normand. Aritz Elustondo is fit after spraining his ankle and should slot in at right-back. Juanmi is expected to be deployed on the left-hand side of the attack, allowing Mikel Oyarzabal to continue centrally.
Abelardo has no fresh selection concerns heading into the weekend. Tomas Pina and Manu Garcia are expected to feature in central midfield. Ruben Sobrino should be preferred to Borja Baston in attack.
