Saturday, 22 December – Kick Off at 17:30 UK Time – Camp Nou
Barcelona has been in incredible form in the last couple of weeks. They won 4-0 away against Espanyol a couple of weeks ago, and last week, they hammered Levante with 5-0. In those games, Lionel Messi has been on an incredible level, scoring five out of the nine goals. With Celta Vigo’s shaky defence this season, it could prove to be a very tough evening for the Celta team.
Last week Celta played 0-0 home against Leganes. It was a match where they had a lot of shots on goal, and if they want a good result at Camp Nou they need to be more effective in front of goal. Celta is a team, that no matter who they come up against, still wants to play an offensive type of football.
About a month ago, we saw a Real Betis team succeeding with their offensive tactic against Barcelona, but all of the Celta players need to be at their best, for that to happen. No matter what, players like Maxi Gomez and Iago Aspas are probably gonna cause a lot of problems for the Barcelona defence, so we could easily see a lot of goals at the Camp Nou on Saturday evening.
