Manchester City are set to sign Espanyol youngster Oscar Tarensi, according to Sport.
The left footed utility player will turn 16 in January and is expected to complete his move there after, becoming the seventh Espanyol youngster to leave in recent months.
He follows Barcelona duo Eric Garcia and Adria Bernabe in moving to the Etihad stadium, whilst Arnau Puigmal moved across the city of Manchester to United.
Leaving Espanyol, Tarensi follows Brian Pena, Raul Moro and Txus Alba (Barcelona) and Pau Russo and Andry Gudjohnsen (Real Madrid) – out of the club.
Having been one of the brightest talents at the Catalan club, Tarensi has been playing a year ahead of himself for their Juvenil B side but his exit will lead them to find a replacement and cover for both the left back and left wing roles which have both often been played the youngster this term.
