Barcelona have received an offer from Guangzhou Evergrande for Malcom, but the winger has told the club that he wants to stay and prove his ability.
The 21-year-old arrived at the Catalan club last summer after they made a last minute move to halt his deal with Italian side AS Roma.
Despite his arrival and transfer fee of €41m, the Brazilian has struggled with off-field issues and a recent injury which saw him ruled out of the December period.
Just 296 minutes in all competitions, Barca fans have seen very little of their summer marquee signing, however, his strike against Inter Milan in the Champions League earlier this season did cause a excited stir.
Diario AS are among those reporting that the Chinese side have made an offer to Barca in excess of €50m – but it has been rejected.
The Spanish outlet follow up a report from journalist Bruno Andrade, who states that Guangzhou are happy to pay more.
Malcom, is said, however, to be committed to making a name for himself in Barcelona and has returned to full fitness with the rest of the squad.
The La Liga leaders have had dealings with Guangzhou in the past, allowing Paulinho to return to the club last summer.
