Sevilla have been busy over the winter period, keeping a watchful eye on Manchester United’s Eric Bailly and Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata.
Estadio Deportivo report that Sevilla scouts have sent good recommendations back to the club on Bailly, despite seeing him sent off in the 4-1 win over Bournemouth recently.
Bailly, formerly of Villarreal, has been a bit part player at United this season, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival to replace Jose Mourinho – has seen him feature more.
A relative uncertainty though has left Sevilla believe that they can seal a six month loan deal and agree a buyout clause with the English club.
Bailly arrived at Old Trafford in 2016 and has a current deal due to expire in June 2020.
Aswell as a glowing report on Bailly, Sevilla scouts have also suggested that Alvaro Morata will be allowed to leave Chelsea.
Morata joined the Blues from Real Madrid last summer but has struggled to adapt to English football, last scoring in the Europa League against Greek side PAOK.
Sevilla’s Director of Football Joaquin Caparros is keen to bring in Morata and see him provide healthy competition with Wissam Ben Yedder and Andre Silva in the attacking roles.
His potential arrival would also provide cover for Luis Muriel, who struggled this season and has since move to Fiorentina.
