Santiago Solari will continue as Real Madrid boss until the end of the season, a report has claimed.
Spanish journalist Paco Gonzalez has confirmed that the Argentine will remain in charge of Los Blancos through until the end of the current campaign.
Gonzalez also claimed that no further signings will be made in the January transfer window, also cited by Spanish daily Marca.
The defeat to La Real at the Santiago Bernabeu saw Madrid drop out of the top four and dampen Solari’s progression with the squad after replacing Julen Lopetegui in November.
Two games already in to 2019 and Los Blancos have failed to win, making their Club World Cup success a rather forgotten about triumph.
Goals from Willian Jose and Ruben Pardo saw Sociedad silence the Bernabeu faithful, but in truth – it could have been more had the former not missed a number of glaring chances.
The defeat saw Madrid return to training ahead of their Copa del Rey tie with Leganes this midweek and hold a team meeting.
Solari and Ramos are reported by Spanish daily Marca to have held the meeting at Valdebebas on Monday morning to all of the playing and coaching staff.
The meeting is said to have cleared the air ahead of Wednesday’s Copa fixture.
