Jasmine Lennard claims to have evidence against Ronaldo in rape case

Cristiano Ronaldo’s ex girlfriend Jasmine Lennard has claimed she has evidence which will go against him in a rape allegation by Kathryn Mayorga.

Mayorga, 34, claims Ronaldo raped her in a hotel room in Las Vegas back in 2009, prior to his Real Madrid move.

Mayorga is reported to have filed a rape report with Las Vegas police following the incident but an out-of-court settlement was reached at the time with Ronaldo, seeing the Portuguese pay £288,000 for agreeing to never go public with the allegations.

German magazine, Der Spiegel have been heavily reporting the news since the start of the current season, claiming they hold vital documents that cite Ronaldo accepting responsibility for the incident.

Mayorga has now been re-interviewed by local police over the incident and it is reported that the case could now be re-opened – claiming the non-disclosure agreement is void.

In a statement last year, Ronaldo’s lawyer Christian Schertz said that Spiegel should not be reporting the news, claiming that he would see compensation over the claims.

Whilst the news has somewhat gone silent in recent weeks, Ronaldo’s ex-girlfriend Lennard has now taken to Twitter to claim she has evidence to convict the Juventus star.

Ronaldo himself, posted a video via Instagram, saying that the claims were ‘fake news’ and that Mayorga wants to ‘promote herself using his name’.
