Barcelona vs Eibar – Camp Nou – Sunday 13th January – Kick off 5:30pm UK time
Ernesto Valverde will be hoping his Barcelona side can quickly put their Copa del Rey defeat to Levante behind them when they welcome Eibar to Catalonia on Sunday evening.
A much changed Barca side went down 2-1 to Los Granotas on Thursday night in the first leg of their last-16 tie in Valencia and will likely field a stronger side for next week’s second leg, with many players expected to play in that game and on Sunday.
Opponents Eibar have had a free midweek after they were knocked out of the cup in the last round against Segunda side Sporting Gijon but that is no advantage with the league leaders up next.
Including the second leg of that defeat, Eibar are currently on a run of five straight draws in all competitions and have lost just one of their last nine, so head to the Camp Nou in a fairly confident mood.
It was Barca who had the upper hand of the two teams last year, winning both games between the sides, 6-1 at home and 2-0 at Ipurua.
Barcelona are still without Samuel Umtiti and Rafinha through injury. Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic will likely be among those to return after being rested in midweek.
Pedro Leon and Charles will miss the trip for Los Armeros and are expected to be joined by Ivan Ramis with the central defender not expected to recover in time from the thigh injury he picked up against Villarreal.

Eibar (4-2-3-1): Riesgo; Pena, Arbilla, Oliveira, Angel; Diop, Escalante; Orellana, Jordan, Cucurella; Enrich
