Rayo Vallecano secured all three points in a six goal thriller with Celta Vigo, beating them 4-2 at Vallecas.
Round 19 in La Liga began with a real cracker on Friday evening Raul de Tomas’ opener after just four minutes prompted an end to end tie.
The former Real Madrid man netted early on but saw his strike cancelled out by Nestor Araujo as the visitors grew into the game.
And, they would take the lead through the lively Maxi Gomez shortly after as the Argentine converted from the penalty spot.
De Tomas and the home side were not going to head into the half time break behind though and levelled through their deadly striker just minutes before hand.
The game in the second half became a much cautious affair as both sides tenatively looked for a winner and it was the home side who grabbed that goal.
De Tomas thumped home his side’s third and ensured that he would take home the match ball.
With the game heading out to a win for the home side, Bebe was keen to get on the score sheet and he did just that, scoring superbly in the 91st minute.
The win sees Celta continue to struggle under new manager Miguel Cardoso, whilst Rayo have now won their last three league games.
