Sevilla are closing in on the signing of Munas Dabbur from RB Salzburg, according to Marca.
Sporting director Joaquin Caparros has been busy this month so far, bringing in the likes of Munir El Haddadi and Maximilian Wober.
And, it is now reported that Israeli striker Dabbur will also join the club in a deal said to be 15m euros.
Dabbur is currently leading the Europa League scorer charts with six goals and the Austrian league, sitting on nine goals so far this season.
The move comes after Sevilla rejected the chance to sign Atletico Madrid striker Nikola Kalinic.
Kalinic, who arrived from AC Milan last summer – has started just five league games, scoring twice for the Wanda Metropolitano club.
Atleti are attempting to meet their capped wage limit which is set at €293m per annum, and sales are now being considered by club officials.
Atleti are now said to be the front runners to make a loan move for Alvaro Morata, indicating a need to sign a striker in January.
Diego Simeone’s side have relied heavily on Antoine Griezmann of late, seeing the Frenchman score their last six goals in all competitions.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus man has found playing time hard to come by at Chelsea this season and a loan deal away from England has been mentioned this month.
