Serie A plans to overhaul league with two Real Madrid stars

Three Serie A clubs are showing interest in Real Madrid duo Luka Modric and Isco, Gazzetto dello Sport report.

The Italian league has somewhat drifted behind the likes of the English Premier League and La Liga in terms of global television audiences and marketing, but with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer – change has begun.

Ronaldo shocked most when he chose to leave Real Madrid for Juventus, but his move could be followed by multiple other superstars from the Spanish and English leagues.

Paul Pogba, who previously played for Juve – is said to be gathering interest from The Old Lady, who are said to regret allowing him to return to Manchester United.

A potential move however, is now deemed unlikely after the World Cup winner’s form picked up over the last few weeks.

Juve are also said to be interested in Isco, who is keen to leave Madrid to find regular first team football.

The Spanish midfielder has been linked to a number of clubs, but the link between Juve and Madrid officials could see a move happen.

Joining Juve in looking to spend big are AC Milan and Inter Milan, with both clubs looking at the potential of bringing in Luka Modric.
