Barcelona officials are reportedly trying to bring Jean-Clair Todibo to the club this month, rather than the summer.
The French defender will see his contract end with the French side on June 30th and will link up with his new team-mates ready for pre-season in the summer.
However, the Catalan club want him this month rather than the agreed date and ESPN FC claim that talks are underway.
Todibo, born in French Guyana, is a French international, having represented the U20 national side and is prodominantly a central defender.
The 19-year-old made his first team debut for Toulouse earlier this season and has featured ten times since then, all of them as a starter.

A club statement after the agreement earlier this month, read: “Todibo is a tall, right-footed defender who can play at centre back and also in the centre of the midfield. At the youth level he often featured in the middle of the field given his ability on the ball.
“One of his best qualities is his physical presence and his ability in the air. At just 19 years of age, the young talent comes to FC Barcelona as one of the most promising players in European Football in his position.”
Linked with a move to numerous European clubs, negotiations took a rapid pace earlier this week after Barca officials learned of interest from English champions Manchester City.
His arrival at Barca will see back-up for the centre-back areas and allow Gerard Pique a substantial rest period during the season.
The move could also see Thomas Vermaelen leave after struggling to gain ample playing time this season under Ernesto Valverde this term.
