Isco will be sold by Real Madrid this summer if Santi Solari remains in charge of the club, according to Calciomercato.
The Spanish international is now turning into a forgotten man at the Santiago Bernabeu with reports claiming he is the 19th option for SSolari.
It is without doubt that former Malaga man Isco has talent and is arguably one of the world’s most creative and exciting players, but his time on the pitch this season has been limited.
Isco, who has struggled to find consistent playing time at the Bernabeu – both under Zinedine Zidane and now, Solari – is being linked with a summer exit.
Various European clubs such as Manchester City, Sevilla and even, Barcelona, have been linked with a move and it now seems that an exit will happen – given that he has dropped firmly out of Solari’s plans.
The likes of Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale continue to hold a place in the starting eleven, whilst youngsters such as Lucas Vazquez, Marco Asensio and Vinicius Jr are preferred over the Spanish international.
Just three starts this season have seen the former Malaga man play just 464 minutes in a Los Blancos shirt and we are now forgetting what a delight to watch he is.
Even with injuries over the winter period, former Betis man Dani Ceballos was a preferred option and his performances warranted that move by Solari.
Isco continues to sit on the bench and was axed from the squad to face Atletico Madrid at the weekend.
