Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is being linked with the job at Chelsea, with claims saying he has given owner Roman Abramovich some conditions over a move.
Current Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is struggling to adapt in England and has been met with heavy criticism after some woeful displays from his side, who sit sixth and 15 points off league leaders Manchester City and Liverpool.
The former Napoli boss had a good start to the season but recent results which include a 6-0 defeat to City have now left fans asking for a change this coming summer.
Zidane, who has been enjoying a break from management after leaving Madrid following back-to-back Champions League wins – is now heavily linked in English and Spanish press.
Contoversial English paper The Sun claim that Zidane would be open to replacing Sarri at Chelsea although the Frenchman has named his conditions to join the Blues.
Zidane is said to have demanded assurances that Eden Hazard will remain at the club, despite links of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu – whilst the Frenchman is said to have demanded a transfer kitty of £200m to boost the current squad.
Time will tell on whether Zidane will replace Sarri, who has until the end of the season to turn things around and push Chelsea into a Champions League place.
