We have taken a look at what we think will be Real Madrid’s XI next season, including Eden Hazard and one Paris Saint Germain star.
Defeat to Barcelona in La Liga, exit to their bitter rivals in the Copa del Rey and elimination from the Champions League to Ajax have seen Madrid have arguably their worst week in history.
With nothing left to play for this season, Los Blancos must now look to address various issues, including their failure to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, who left for Juventus last summer – if he is replacable.
And, the future of Solari, who despite winning games for the most part since taking over before Christmas – has lost the games that matter.
Marca have looked deeply into the goings on at the Santiago Bernabeu since the defeat to Ajax last week and they have now looked at Solari’s relationship or lack of – with his squad.
The Argentine is expected to be replaced whilst the likes of Marcelo, Isco, Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Marco Asensio are expected to be put up for sale.
And, whilst we do not predict masses of changes to Madrid’s starting eleven with whoever comes in as new boss – we do expect Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe to turn up to the first day of training next season.
Madrid will now undoubtedly push to sign Hazard, who has been linked with a move on multiple occasions, whilst a move for Mbappe is also expected, given that he is arguably football’s hottest prospect.
