Borja Mayoral scored with ten minutes remaining to give Levante a good point against Real Sociedad on Friday evening.
With the home side chasing a European place, they were deemed favourites for this one at the Anoeta and especially so given the visitors poor form of late.
Levante, who have struggled since the turn of the year are looking over their shoulder with the relegation battlers all gaining points recentlty.
The hosts dominated from start to finish and in total had 23 shots on goal through the course of the 90 minutes, but they will rue their finishing, having just got six on target.
La Real did take the lead through former Manchester United man Adnan Januzaj, who scored just before the half hour mark and you would excuse the home fans for thinking their side would go and score more.
However, Levante defended well and kept the score to a minimum, before they tried to get a late equaliser in the second half.
That eventually came and it was Mayoral who grabbed the point for the away side.
The draw sees La Real remain in ninth, but a win for Eibar could see them drop to midtable, whilst Levante give themselves a little bit of breathing space, sitting five points above the bottom three.
