Levante and Eibar played out a 2-2 draw on Sunday afternoon at a wet and windy Ciudad de Valencia.
Heading into this one, it was the visitors who deemed slight favourites as Levante sat just above the relegation places but the home side started the game in good form and Jose Luis Morales who grabbed the opener after just five minutes.
Eibar did then grow into the game and they dominated in terms of possession and chances on goal throughout the 90 minute mark.
The equaliser came from Gonzalo Escalante just before the 20 minute mark and it was well deserved for Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side.
Despite their dominance, former Barcelona winger Ruben Rochina was having his say and he gave Levante the lead just before the half hour mark.
The second half turned into a rather cagey affair as both sides battled with the rainy conditions.
The all important leveller for Eibar came through striker Sergi Enrich, who continues to be in good form, netting 12 minutes remaining on the clock.
The point for Levante means they will continue to nervously look over their shoulder, whilst the visitors go home sitting in 11th place, level on points with Leganes, who shocked Getafe this weekend.
