Sevilla have made their tenth signing of the summer, bringing in Nemanja Gudelj from Guangzhou Evergrande.
The Serbian international was released from his contract by the Chinese Super League side and has instantly put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal with the Spanish side, becoming their tenth new arrival this summer.
Gudelj moved to the Netherlands at the tender age of 10-years-old and played for the likes of AZ Alkmaar and Ajax during his time in the European country.
Having been capped 22 times by Serbia, the former China-based player played on loan at Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon last term.
Gudelj will now meet his new team-mates at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, joining fresh faces in Jules Kounde, Diego Carlos, Lucas Ocampos, Fernando, Joan Jordan, Mannus Dabbur, Sergio Reguilon, Oliver Torres and Luuk de Jong.
It is understood by sources close to La Liga News UK that the likes of Nolito and Roque Mesa will now be made available for transfer in a bid to recoup some of the funds spent, whilst Pablo Sarabia left for Paris Saint Germain earlier this summer.
Meanwhile, across the city of Seville – Real Betis have been busy recruiting too, bringing in Nabil Fekir from Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais in a deal just under £20m.
