Wednesday evening’s Champions League action sees Paris Saint Germain host Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid host Juventus.
Zinedine Zidane’s Madrid will be looking to right the wrongs of their campaign last term but they face a tricky opening tie against a PSG side, who are desperate for European glory.
Madrid have started the season in moderately good style but Zidane has plenty of injury problems and a defence that seems to continue leaking goals.
PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is also struggling to pick from a fully fit squad and will equally be in need of an opening victory on Champions League opening week.
Neymar has returned to full fitness for PSG but will not feature against Los Blancos after receiving a two-match ban for questioning the referee publically after the defeat to Manchester United in last season’s campaign.
Kylian Mbappe has also returned to training, but the 20-year-old forward is not expected to feature from the start. Thilo Kehrer and Julian Draxler are both doubts after sitting out against Strasbourg with foot injuries.
Zidane has Eden Hazard back but he is not expected to start for the Spanish side, whilst Isco has been ruled out as he is still recovering from a thigh injury.
Marcelo is also out, along with Luka Modric and Federico Valverde.
