Spanish daily Marca believe Paris Saint Germain are close to sealing a deal for Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe.
Interest in French international Mbappe has been rife this summer after he burst on to the scene last season with Monaco, helping them to a Ligue 1 title and to a Champions League semi-final place.
Whilst interest has been held by the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona – it has mainly been Florentino Perez’s Real Madrid that have always been linked.
Following news that the youngster had handed in a transfer request in France last week – further links have continued with Spanish daily Marca claiming Madrid were looking at all avenues to make the move a reality.
However, it is now being reported that Paris Saint Germain are on the verge of announcing a deal for the youngster.
PSG have recently spent big on Neymar from Barcelona, but they believe selling a number of players will allow them to spent £162m on Mbappe and stick to Financial Fair Play Regulations.
Monaco are reluctant to allow Mbappe to leave but having signed Jordi Mboula from Barcelona, a ready replacement is at the club just in case their much talked about talent leaves.
