Yesterday, Real Betis held an open training session that was attended in large numbers by supporters.
The success in this summer transfer market for Betis has led to great excitement amongst the supporters of the Andalusian club. This excitement is evident in both record season ticket sales as well as the large attendance at Luis del Sol Training Centre yesterday.
New star signing Ryad Boudebouz was back in training out on the pitch along with Junior Firpo, who are both continuing the recovery of their injuries. The Algerian continued his recovery today by not fully partaking in training again.
Other new signing Victor Camarasa was unable to take to the field to join his teammates in training due to a sprained ankle. The midfielder was supervised in his recovery indoors with the physiotherapist.
The stand within Luis del Sol Training Centre was full throughout the session and the Real Betis stars took a lot of time to sign autographs and take photos with supporters afterwards.
Looking forward to Friday night’s match against Celta Vigo, new manager Quique Setien will be hoping they can overcome their disappointment of losing to Barcelona. He mentioned after the match that “it was a huge stage for some players and they couldn’t release all their potential.”
