Barcelona are set to announce the signing of Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund, according to multiple reports.
The Catalan club’s interest in Dembele has been prominent since Brazilian attacker Neymar left for Paris Saint Germain.
A move to the Camp Nou for the Frenchman has not been easy though with countless reports of on/off agreements between both clubs.
However, beIN Sports have now reported that after further talks, a move is now expected with Barca prepared to pay an initial up front cost of €120million for his services.
The deal will include a further €30million of add-ons for the 20-year-old which include bonuses such as Champions League honours and international caps for France.
The 20-year-old France international will reportedly sign a five-year contract at the Camp Nou and be second to just former Barca player Neymar as the most expensive footballer.
Dembele is largely unknown prior to his move to Dortmund from Rennes last summer, having begun his career with Madeleine Évreux.
Having developed with Rennes, his impact would see a move to Germany before being capped with France at the age of 19.
His arrival at the Catalan club will see him follow Marlon, Nelson Semedo, Gerard Deulofeu and Paulinho, who have been signed by Ernesto Valverde this summer.
