Deportivo La Coruna have received offers from Trabzonspor and Olympiakos for their right back, Juanfran according to Cadena SER.
Juanfran has played for Deportivo for the last three seasons but he had been on loan from Real Betis initially before joining Watford but once again he found himself back at Riazor on loan and he is now officially a Depor player.
He has now made over 100 appearances for the club and at present he is the first choice right back but he is also capable of playing as a right winger.
Deportivo are unlikely to want to sell the player but it is thought the offer from Olympiakos is €1.5 million plus Diogo Figueiras which may tempt the Galician side.
Figueiras was a member of the Sevilla squad that won three Europa League titles in a row and he would be a direct replacement for Juanfran.
While the €1.5 million isn’t a huge amount it may help Depor get a little closer to Arsenal’s valuation of Lucas Perez and if they can make that deal happen then Juanfran could be sacrificed.
Pepe Mel has said publicly that he doesn’t expect anyone else to leave the club but he is also desperate to bring in a striker and in the grand scheme of things replacing Juanfran with Figueiras and Perez would be a deal worth making for the club as they finalise their squad for another La Liga campaign.
