20 year-old winger Emre Mor has made a switch to La Liga, signing a five year deal with Celta Vigo from Borussia Dortmund in a deal around €13m+.
The Danish-born Turk arrived at the Westfalenstadion last summer from Denmark and was touted to go on to big things with the German giants, however game time was very limited and with new arrivals this summer, a move away was pretty imminent.
This sees Celta complete their fourth signing of the summer, having already bought in the current La Liga top goalscorer Maxi Gomez, Stanislav Lobotka and Jozabed Sanchez.
Mor had been linked with moves to the Premier League amid interest and talks with Everton and Huddersfield, however the promising wonder-kid has opted to continue his development in an exciting Celta Vigo side.
He is expected to battle for a place in the starting line-up with the likes of Pione Sisto, another young talent from the Danish League, as well as former Liverpool flop Iago Aspas, who’s revived his career since returning to La Liga in 2015.
Mor becomes Celta’s record signing, smashing the previous fee of £5m paid for Pione Sisto, and will be hoping his first season in Spain will be successful and that he can play regularly for Célticos.
