Valencia winger Nani has arrived in Italy to complete a move to Lazio, according to Marca and Diario AS.
Having had a mixed summer of ins and outs at the Mestalla, club owner Peter Lim has been keen to push out a number of the club’s biggest earners, having made the likes of Ezequiel Garay, Nani and Aymen Abdennour available.
And, whilst the latter has left the club this week for Marseille, Garay looks increasingly likely to stay after boss Marcelino convinced the billionaire owner to keep hold of him for one more season at least.
Nani has been told by the club’s coaching staff that he have limited playing time this season, and it now looks certain that he will join Serie A side Lazio.
The 30-year-old only joined Los Che last summer and took a huge wage decrease, but Marcelino has encouraged owner Lim to let the former Man United man leave.
A initial loan deal is currently being reported in Spanish media, whilst Sportitalia believe a permanent deal of €16m is also being discussed.
Meanwhile, Fabian Orellana is being linked with a move to Leganes after being told he does not have a future at the club.
