Chelsea forward Eden Hazard is regularly calling Real Madrid president Florentino Perez regarding a move next summer, according to reports in Spanish press.
The report reveals that the 26-year-old made a personal call to Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane this summer after reports in both English and Spanish media claimed a deal was being discussed.
But, also goes on to add that the Belgian international has continued to call the Spanish club, speaking regularly to president Perez about a potential move next summer.
Hazard has been in superb form in recent seasons and contributed to the Blues’ Premier League title success under Italian coach Antonio Conte last season, scoring 16 goals.
Perez, who was re-elected as Madrid president earlier this year, is keen to bring a the Chelsea star as he looks to freshen up his attacking options with Cristiano Ronaldo edging closer to his mid 30’s.
Madrid’s start to the domestic season has been stuttering to say the least but they bounced back in style with a 3-1 win over Real Sociedad on Sunday evening.
The result sees them move up the table on eight points but still four points behind bitter rivals Barcelona, who have won four out of for games thus far.
