Winless Deportivo host pointless Alaves

Deportivo La Coruna and Alaves meet in what to many people will be seen as the weakest game of Jornada 5 in La Liga with both teams still searching for their first win of the season.

Depor have lost three of their first four games against Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Real Betis with their solitary point coming against Levante in a 2-2 draw on the 26th of August which sees them sit at the top of the bottom 3.

As for Alaves, they have had a totally horrible start to the season suffering defeats to Leganes, Barcelona, Celta and Villarreal causing them to sack manager Luis Zubeldia at the start of the week.

One point between the two teams doesn’t make for exciting reading ahead of tonight’s encounter and looking to last season’s games between the two doesn’t help with a total of just 3 goals from the two meetings in the league.

Adrian Lopez, Zakaria Bakkali, Ruben Martinez, Sidnei, Carles Gil and Pedro Mosquera all miss out for the hosts tonight with Victor Laguardia, Hector Hernandez and Bojan Krkic sitting out for Alaves.

Predicted Line-Ups:

Deportivo La Coruna (4-2-3-1): Pantilimon; Juanfran, Schar, Arribas, Luisinho; Guilherme, Borges; Valverde, Gama, Cartabia; Lucas Perez

WHY NOT READ:   Nabil Fekir joins Real Betis from Lyon in bargain deal

Alaves (4-2-3-1): Pacheco; Vigaray, Ely, Maripan, Pedraza; Manu Garcia, Pina; Romero, Medran, Burgui; Munir
