The Copa del Rey last 32 draw was made at the RFEF headquarters in Madrid this afternoon with 4 all La Liga clashes to be played.
The stand out of those four ties will see Eibar host Celta Vigo at the Ipurua before the return in Galicia. Last season’s defeated finalists Alaves will travel to Madrid to face Getafe in their first leg.
The other two La Liga meet ups see newly promoted Girona and Levante clash in Catalonia and Valencia with Deportivo de la Coruna hosting islanders Las Palmas before facing off in Gran Canaria in the return leg.
Seven third tier teams went in to the draw with the guarantee of facing one of La Liga’s European representatives. One of those, Real Murcia, will tackle last year’s winners Barcelona with Fuenlabrada given the unenviable task of facing La Liga champions Real Madrid in a Madrid derby.
Atletico Madrid will face off against Elche with the fourth Champions League side Sevilla facing Cartagena.
Villarreal have been drawn against Ponferradina, Athletic Club will face Formentera and Real Sociedad will play Lleida Esportiu.
