Athletic Bilbao will be desperate to end a run of bad form as they face Sevilla in the San Mames.

The Basques are without a win in six games, four of those games coming in the league which has seen them slip to a lowly 13th. Sevilla, meanwhile, sit second in the league having lost just one of their opening seven.

The results, however, cover up some underwhelming performances and Athletic coach, Jose Ziganda, will be hopeful that his side can cause the Andalusian side some trouble when they visit the San Mames.

Athletic Club will once again be without Iker Munian, while Oscar De Marcos is a doubt. The visitors will have their full strength lineup. Having lost just two home games all last year, Athletic Club have won just one of their opening 4 home fixtures in all competitions this season.

Ahead of the game, Sevilla winger Nolito praised the team spirit, saying “At Sevilla there is a really good atmosphere in the dressing room, there is a very strong bond between the players and I think you can notice that whenever we are out on the pitch during games.”

The Spaniard recently celebrated his 31st birthday and will be a key figure for Sevilla for the upcoming game.
