According to El Confidencial, Real Madrid are tempted to cash in on Gareth Bale after the Welsh winger suffered more injury problems.
The Welsh international left White Hart Lane in 2013 and has since won Champions League and La Liga honours with Real Madrid, however, injury problems have left his place in the starting eleven questionable.
Bale, who returned to full fitness over the summer has now suffered another calf muscle injury, seeing him miss both upcoming qualifiers against Georgia and Republic of Ireland.
Bale was a massive doubt for his country, coming off injured against Borussia Dortmund last week in the Champions League.
The former Spurs player has had a total of 12 injuries at the Spanish club, missing a total of 185 days.
His latest injury on his calf muscle is the fifth of its kind, forcing him to miss the latter end of last season which involved a successful La Liga title haul and a Champions League honour.
Both former club Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are keen and it is now understood that Madrid officials are planning a tentative move to offer his services elsewhere.
With Bale now out injured, the likes of Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio can continue their rise in a Madrid shirt, with both impressing Zidane enough to warrant starts ahead of both Bale and Karim Benzema this season.
