Levante and Getafe drew 1-1 at Ciutat de Valencia on Saturday afternoon.
After a fairly even opening first 45 minutes, it was the visitors who took the lead when Faycal Fajr’s right footed shot from outside the box beat the home keeper.
The lead lasted just four minutes however as the impressive Jose Luis Morales was played in by Antonio Luna and he fired home.
There was few chances following the two goals but injuries to Levante’s Nano and Getafe’s Djené Dakonam saw seven minutes of stoppage time added on.
One final chance came the way of Ivi for the home side but his shot was blocked and the referee blew for full-time.
Elsewhere, Levante’s rivals Valencia made it five wins out of five as they beat Sevilla 4-0.
Very few people had imagined Valencia would of sat behind league leaders Barcelona after two months of La Liga action but Marcelino’s side have now made it five consecutive wins after beating Sevilla.
Simone Zaza was amongst the goals once more, whilst Santi Mina and Goncalo Guedes (2) also got on the score sheet for the home side.
Sevilla were thrashed in mid-week by Spartak Moscow, conceding five and they conceded four as they were completely outclassed by Los Che.
