La Liga 1|2|3 Review: Lugo go top after 1-0 win over Nastic

CD Lugo went top of the Segunda Division after a 1-0 win over Nastic at the weekend.

The 12th round of fixtures in Spain’s second division are now complete and it is Lugo who have surprised most by sitting top spot after an impressive 1-0 win over Nastic.

Midfielder Antonio Campillo scored the only goal of the game in a result which saw visiting side Nastic drop to 19th in the standings.

Granada and Sporting Gijon sit second and third respectively, and both had good wins at the weekend.

The former secured a 4-1 win over Lorca with Darwin Machis excellent, netting a hat-trick, whilst Joselu also scored.

Sporting beat Almeria 2-0 thanks to an own goal from Joaquin and a single from Michael Santos, meaning they now sit one point off Lugo.

Cadiz vs Rayo, Albacete vs Huesca, Tenerife vs Osasuna and Zaragoza vs Cultural Leonesa all ended 0-0.

Reus and Valladolid also drew but their was four goals shared in that game, whilst Barcelona B draw with Sevilla Atletico, seeing Carles Alena and Marc Gual get on the scoresheet, respectively.

Cordoba and Numancia also drew 1-1, and the final game of the weekend saw Alcorcon beat Oviedo 2-0 thanks to goals from Alvaro and Laure.
