Much has been debated on who is better out of Harry Kane and Karim Benzema, but early statistics see the Englishman streaks ahead of the Frenchman.
Benzema in truth has been out injured at times, whilst Kane has been a mainstay in the Tottenham Hotspur team until last week when he missed the trip to Manchester United.
Kane, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid has an impressive eight goals in nine games, whilst Benzema has scored just one goal all season for Madrid.
The Frenchman does have one more assist than Kane and has also completed more passes, but the 24-year-old is in front on aerial duels, shots per games and average ratings.
The England international has been in superb form both for club and country and has such been linked heavily with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in recent weeks.
Madrid, who are keen to make a ‘Galactico’ signing next summer, have been looking at various options and it is reported in Spanish and English press that Kane is their number one target.
President Florentino Perez has previously insisted that the club have no interest in signing Kane, and he reiterated that last month in an interview with Cadena COPE, via Sky Sports.
