Atletico Madrid will be without defender Filipe Luis after he sustained a hamstring injury.
The Brazilian full-back suffered the injury during Tuesday evening’s Champions League clash with Qarabag and has now been ruled out for indefinite period by club doctors.
A medical report on the club’s official website confirmed the news, stating that the former Chelsea man has suffered ‘a elongation on his left leg’s hamstring.’
The 32-year-old has been an ever present for Diego Simeone’s side this season, featuring in ten games for Los Rojiblancos.
Juanfran is expected to shuffle over and give Simeone an option at left-back.
Wednesday’s game ended in a 1-1 draw, seeing Atleti’s chances of qualification for the last-32 all-but impossible.
An opener from Michel set alarm bells ringing inside the ground, but Thomas Partey’s impressive leveller go the home side back in the game.
A late chance for Saul Niguez tested the visitors resolve – before Stefan Savic received his marching orders, ending a bad night for the former Champions League runners-up.
Simeone’s side meet group leaders Roma on the 22nd November, before facing Antonio Conte’s Chelsea on the 5th December.
A failure to qualify for the last-32 will see Atleti drop into the Europa League.
