Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero as exits look likely at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The struggles of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema continue for Madrid as neither were able to get on the score sheet in the 3-0 victory over Las Palmas on Sunday.
Neither have started the season well, with Ronaldo having scored just one league goal and Benzema having netted just two in all competitions, whilst other forward Gareth Bale has been unfit this season.
Those statistics have now led to growing reports of January moves, linking Aguero with a move back to the Spanish capital, where he once played for rivals Atletico Madrid.
Le 10 Sport report that the Argentine forward is top of Zinedine Zidane’s shopping list, but it remains unlikely that City and Pep Guardiola will allow him to leave as they hunt the Premier League and Champions League titles.
Madrid returned to winning ways on Sunday evening, beating Las Palmas thanks to goals from Casemiro, Marco Asensio and Isco.
The win sees them sit eight points behind league leaders Barcelona, having lost two of their opening 11 games.
An international break now halts league action, before the Madrid derby with Diego Simeone’s Atletico side.
