Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente linked up with Alaves duo Ibai Gomez and Enzo Zidane on Monday for a training session.
The 22-year-old returned to the Santiago Bernabeu from his one-year loan spell at Alaves over the summer, but he returned to meet up with former team-mate Gomez and former Real Madrid Castilla team-mate Zidane on Monday.
With the international break in full flow, the three players did not want to take their respective days-off and instead trained together.
Enzo Zidane is currently on a one-year loan with Alaves and has featured twice since his arrival, whilst Ibai Gomez is close to both players.
Alaves, who have struggled this season – bounced back with a win at the weekend against Espanyol.
Gianni De Biasi’s men had lost nine of their opening 10 league games heading into the game, which made Quique Sanchez Flores’ visitors the favourites for all three points.
Mario Hermoso gave the hosts hope though as he was sent off in the 39th minute, whilst Christian Santos’ early goal ensured an important three points.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Girona beat Levante 2-1 and Barcelona won at home to Sevilla.
Whilst, Valencia won again as they beat Leganes 3-0 on Saturday afternoon to put pressure on league leaders Barcelona.
