Las Palmas 0-2 Levante: Hosts dominate but lose outNovember 19, 2017
Levante secured three points against Las Palmas, despite the home side dominating possession.
The home side have struggled this season and continue to do so after losing to Valencia based Levante on Sunday afternoon.
The Estadio de Gran Canaria was full of optimism for three points but Cheick Doukoure’s opener with twenty minutes remaining cancelled out any chance of that.
Las Palmas did dominate proceedings but striker Jonathan Calleri was unfortunate not to get on the score sheet.
As the game ran out of time, Jason bagged a second for the visitors to ensure another sour defeat for the home side, seeing them now rooted to the bottom of the La Liga standings.
Malaga, who did sit bottom, came from behind to beat Deportivo La Coruña in a five-goal thriller at the Estadio La Rosaleda.
Roberto Rosales opened the scoring for the home side, before former Arsenal man Lucas Perez levelled.
Fabian Schar then gave the Galician side the lead shortly after the break, but Gonzalo Castro once again put the home side on level terms.
Michel’s men then rallied towards the end and Swansea City loanee Borja Baston ended a year-long goal drought to seal a massive three points.
