Rafinha reportedly offered to Valencia

The father of Barcelona midfielder Rafinha was spotted leaving the Valencia offices in Paterna following a meeting with Valencia’s sporting director José Ramón Alesanco.

Former Valencia player Mazinho, who is also the father of Thiago and Rafinha Alcántara and the uncle of Valencia player Rodrigo, visited the Valencia offices this morning and has reportedly done so to offer the services of his son Rafinha to Valencia.

Rafinha is one of the players that might leave Barcelona this season in search for minutes and has already been a player tracked by Valencia in recent seasons and his arrival would mean that Dani Parejo will be leaving Valencia.

With Rafinha searching for more minutes at another club next season, Mazinho has visited Valencia’s offices to offer his son’s services to Valencia.

However, from Valencia’s perspective signing Rafinha will be a very complicated deal given Barcelona’s high asking price, which will be around €25 Million and due to the fact that the player is able to attract higher wages than what Valencia will be able to pay.
