Preview: APOEL v Real MadridNovember 21, 2017
Real Madrid will be looking for nothing less than victory over APOEL on Tuesday evening as they look to qualify for the knock-out stages of the Champions League.
Madrid lost top spot in Group H on match-day four, having been beaten by Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in a result which saw the English side qualify.
Third placed Borussia Dortmund are five points adrift of Madrid and will be relying heavily on Los Blancos to lose their next two games to have any chance of making the next round.
APOEL have yet to win this term in the competition, but did hold Dortmund on two occasions, drawing 1-1 twice.
Madrid will head into the game on the back of a fairly disappointing 0-0 draw with rivals Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday evening and Zinedine Zidane will be hoping his side can bounce back in style.
The visitors will travel without Sergio Ramos, who broke his nose against Atleti at the weekend, whilst Gareth Bale is still unfit.
Keylor Navas and Mateo Kovacic are also out through injury, meaning Kiko Casilla will remain in goal.
The home side have Milanov (knee), Waterman (shoulder) and Bertoglio (thigh) all ruled out.
APOEL: Nauzet Pérez; Vouros, Carlão, Rueda, Lago; Nuno Morais, Vinicius; Zahid, Ebecilio, Aloneftis; Poté.
Real Madrid: Casilla; Nacho, Varane, Vallejo, Marcelo; Kroos, Casemiro, Modrić, Asensio; Benzema, Ronaldo.
