Las Palmas grabbed a point as they held Real Sociedad 2-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Las Palmas hadn’t earned points since a 1-0 win at Athletic Bilbao in September but goals from Tana and Jonathan Viera ensured a point.
Seventh-place Sociedad had won three of its last four games in all competitions, including two straight at home and they relied on strikes from Willian Jose and Adnan Januzaj.
Adrian Odriozola was sent off in the final minutes for the home side.
Prior to the game on Sunday, the morning fixture saw Deportivo and Athletic Bilbao shared a point each as they drew 2-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Athletic, who were winless in five games, were ahead twice but could not hold on to their lead at the Riazor.
The visitors who led through Markel Susaeta and Inaki Williams on two occasions, also hit the post twice in a game they should really of won.
But goals from Adrian Lopez and Fabian Schar shared the points.
On Saturday, Cristian Tello scored a 95th minute equaliser to ensure a point for Real Betis against Girona on Saturday afternoon.
The Andalusian side salvaged a point at home to Catalans Girona after a crazy finish which saw both sides score in the final moments of the game.
Girona appeared the get all three points after Portu netted his second goal four minutes into stoppage time, however, Tello controlled the ball on his chest from the restart and then beat two defenders before slotting home.
Elsewhere on Saturday, ten man Eibar dealt Alaves their 11th defeat of the season so far, beating them 2-1 in a derby of small Basque country sides.
Charles scored Eibar’s second goal but was then showed a red card for shoving his head into an Alaves player on the 83rd minute.
In Saturday’s other two La Liga games, Atletico Madrid proved too good for Levante, beating them 5-0.
Kevin Gameiro scored twice, whilst Antoine Griezmann, who has been struggling for goals of late – also netted an impressive brace.
Diego Simeone’s side now sit third in the standings, one place above Real Madrid, who left it late to beat struggling Malaga.
Cristiano Ronaldo it was to the rescue for Zinedine Zidane’s side as he netted a late spot-kick to ensure a 3-2 victory.
