Juventus are making a move for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, according to various reports.
Tuttosport, based in Turin – report that Juve are keen to replace ageing defender Stephan Lichtensteiner with the Spanish international.
Officials from the Serie A club have been looking at a number of possibilities to fill the gap with names such as Atletico Madrid’s Sime Vrsaljko and Paris Saint Germain’s Thomas Meunier – linked.
Vrsaljko has been strongly linked with a January exit from the Wanda Metropolitano after failing to gain playing time under Diego Simeone and interest from Italy has been rife with Napoli leading the race for his signature.
Whilst, Meunier is also keen to move on after losing his place to Dani Alves at PSG.
Bellerin was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona over the summer until the Catalan giants pulled out of a possible move and signed Nelson Semedo from Benfica instead.
The youngster left Barcelona in 2011 to join Arsenal and furthered his development in the Gunners academy, helping him break into the first team and gain international recognition with the Spanish national side, featuring three times for the first team.
Should Juve make a move; it is thought that Arsenal will hold the same resolve they did with Barca’s interest.
