Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Real Sociedad youngster Alvaro Odriozola, according to various reports.
The 21-year-old has been in superb form of late and has been impressing on all levels, making him one of Madrid’s top transfer targets as boss Zinedine Zidane looks to freshen up his squad.
Odriozola has a €40m release clause in his contract at the Anoeta after recently signing a new contract until 2022, but it is thought that pressure from Madrid could see him leave for less.
Marca report that the youngster, who made his debut for the Spanish national side this year – would be tempted to make a move.
Meanwhile, Madrid are said to have agreed a move for Athletic Bilbao keeper Kepa.
Spanish daily Marca report the deal which they say will be formally completed following Madrid’s participation in the Club World Cup next week in Abu Dhabi.
According to the report, Madrid have agreed a fee in the region of €25m with Athletic, despite the keeper’s release clause being set at €20m.
With the move now expected to happen, it should see the youngster move straight into the starting eleven at the Santiago Bernabeu, leaving Navas’ future in doubt.
Current back-up keeper Kiko Casilla has been told he can leave the club in January.
