Guedes will join Valencia, claim L’EquipeDecember 20, 2017
Valencia are the front runners to sign Goncalo Guedes from Paris Saint Germain, according to L’Equipe.
The Portuguese midfielder has been in sensational form this season and has played a big part in Los Che’s impressive start to the season, which saw them go 13 rounds unbeaten and put pressure on league leaders Barcelona.
In particular, Guedes’ performances in the back-to-back games with Real Betis and Sevilla in October saw him score three goals, get two assists and be crowned man of the match in both games.
Interest has been a plenty from some of European football’s biggest clubs, whilst parent club PSG have been linked with bringing him back to push for a place in the French capital.
Valencia are keen to make the loan move permanent, and a report now claims that an agreement has been made for the move to be made.
A transfer fee of 35m euros is said to have been agreed with the move set to be made official on June 30, 2018.
Having started his career with Portuguese side Benfica, the 21-year-old moved to PSG last season but made less than ten appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
12 appearances this season for Los Che has seen him become a regular performer in La Liga and gain a regular place with the Portugal national team.
