Real Sociedad and Sevilla round off Tuesday night’s La Liga action with a clash at the Anoeta.

Both sides have hit a bit of a lull at the moment with the hosts not having won in La Liga since beating Eibar on the fifth of November and Sevilla have lost heavily to Real Madrid and drawn at home to Levante in their last two.

Sevilla do still stay in the Europa League spots however, sitting in fifth place just two points behind Real, although Los Blancos do have a game in hand. Below them, their nearest challengers are Villarreal but the Yellow Submarine are currently five points behind.

La Real started the season on fire winning their first three games and picking up 17 points from their first 11 games. Their form has dipped considerably since though picking up just three points from their last five as well as exiting the Copa del Rey at the hands of third tier Lleida Esportiu. They have however qualified from their Europa League group.

Last year’s clash at the Anoeta saw Sevilla produce one of their best performances of the season with a 4-0 win and they will be hoping to replicate that on Tuesday night.
