Both Arda Turan and Rafinha have missed Barcelona’s annual open training session in order to find an exit from the club.
Turkish international Turan is in a long list of midfield options under Ernesto Valverde as Barca which includes Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic, Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez, Sergi Roberto and new signing Paulinho.
Valverde is keen to move the former Atletico Madrid man on and gain some extra funds to bolster his options and make a move for Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
Links with Premier League side Manchester United were rife before the English transfer window closed, whilst a potential loan move to former club Galatasaray was also mentioned.
After gaining interest from plenty of clubs, Arda has now told his agent of the three clubs he wants to join, which are said to be Besiktas, Everton or AC Milan.
Having moved to Barcelona two years ago, Arda has featured 53 times for Barca but his time on the playing field this season is yet to begin.
Whilst, Rafinha is also on that list of midfielders at the club, the Brazilian is keen to move for first team football.
The Brazilian international damaged his knee ligaments last season in the 4-1 win over Granada and has not featured for the current La Liga leaders since April.
Having undergone various recovery methods, the youngster was deemed fully fit early in December but as expected – playing time is now hard to come by due to the form of Iniesta, Rakitic and Paulinho.
A loan deal to former club Celta Vigo is heavily expected to take shape and his absence from training on Friday morning is said to have sped things up for an exit.
Barca have reported that Turan missed the session due to ‘fever’, whilst Rafinha was in the ‘gym doing work’.
