Eibar attacker Bebe could be set to join former teammate Alejandro Galvez in moving to Las Palmas.
Paco Jemez is thought to be extremely interested in bringing the Portuguese forward to Gran Canaria after working with him in his time at Rayo Vallecano. Bebe, along with Christian Rivera, doesn’t fit into Jose Luis Mendilibar’s plans so a move to Las Palmas could be on the cards.
Fabian Orellana’s recent move to Los Armeros has given Bebe even less game time than before and the Las Palmas interest comes at a good time for the player.
Bebe and Las Palmas are believed to have agreed the move but the terms and extra details between both clubs are yet to be decided upon.
The only possible stumbling block to the move is the fact that Eibar don’t fully own the player, with 50% of him belonging to Liga NOS side Benfica.
Eibar aim to sell him with a purchase option of around 3 million euros for the full rights. Benfica will not stand in the way of the player but it comes down to whether Las Palmas decide to agree to Eibar’s terms.
The former Manchester United player has been at the Ipurua for 18 months but hasn’t performed to his full potential as Eibar had hoped he would and with him being one of the highest earners at the club, his departure would free up some extra funds for the Basques.
